THE STORY BEHIND THE WORK

A Journey Through Innovation

During a nearly 28-year career with Kodak, Peter was involved with technologies including video imaging, digital photography, computer graphics, desktop publishing, systems design, software design, thermal printing, interoperability, and 3D imaging.

From 1985 to 1990, he shared a cubicle wall with Steve Sasson, inventor of the first digital camera in 1975. Their work and collaborations took place during an extraordinary transition from traditional photography to digital imaging.

This archive brings together memories, technologies, projects, and people connected to that era, including later work at Rochester Institute of Technology.
